The top 10 photo shoot locations in England and Ireland

If you are looking for photo shoot locations in England and Ireland, well, you are spoilt for choice really. We are lucky to live in a beautiful part of the world, and even though there are some less than stunning areas around, England and Ireland have some ideal spots for photo shoot locations.

Here are a 10 of the very best photo shoot locations in England and Ireland:

Although relatively new The London Eye has quickly become part of the iconic London skyline. It is also great for photo shoots as the pods provide fantastic views of the city, sometimes for miles on a clear day.

 2) Curbar Edge

Located in the rugged Derbyshire countryside Curbar Edge is a real natural wonder. It is a rocky outcrop that overhangs a cliff and it stands out as remarkable among the other remarkable sites. This spot was used in the movie version of Pride And Prejudice and photographers are big fans of this spot too.

3) Camden Lock

The bustling Camden Lock area is constantly teeming with hip kids and stylish ladies and gents, thanks to the world famous Camden markets. This is a great spot for a busy urban shoot that will be filled with excitement and atmosphere.

4) The Giant’s Causeway

This fantastic rock formation in the North of Ireland attracts a plethora of visitors to this area every year, and it is a great spot for photography too. It has an other-worldliness that makes pictures look incredibly intriguing, whether you are doing a fashion shoot or a landscape shot.

6) Battersea Power Station

Some people think the power station is an absolute eyesore; others think it is beautiful, albeit in an industrial, gritty way. Whatever your opinion it is a striking image and could really add to a photograph. It is of course also right next to Battersea Park so some contract can be found here, with lush green grass skirting the big grey vision.

7) Big Ben

Big Ben is much more than a mere clock. It is now built into the English national character and therefore would be a good spot for an English themed photo shoot.

 8) Blarney Castle
