Dublin is packed with great thing to do and see.
The most popular tourist attraction in Dublin is the Guinness Store House, located in part of the old Guinness Brewery. Here you can explore the history of Guinness and how they make the black stuff. There is a free pint of Guinness at the end of it, from the Sky bar, which gives panoramic views of the city. It certainly is the best pint of Guinness that you will ever have. The Guinness Storehouse is located within walking distance of Dublin city centre.
Dublin Zoo is set in the Phoenix Park, is Ireland’s most popular destination receiving over a million visitors a year. Dublin Zoo is one of the oldest Zoo’s in the world but it is run on a very high standard and spread out over 28 hectares. There are 600 species of animals located in the Zoo. The daily talks and activities are the highlight to a visit, where you can learn about the endangered animals of Dublin zoo and help feed them as well.

The National Museum of Ireland, the National Art Gallery and the National History Museum, are all located within severahundred yards of each other. All are free. The History Museum explores the history of Ireland over the last 5000 years and has some exceptional Celtic gold artifacts. - The National Art Gallery has a unique treasure in Caravaggio’s “Taking of Christ”. A painting that was believed lost for generations.
The Howth Coastal walk route is a beautiful walk readily accessible from the city. It does require a good pair of boots as you can go over loose stone paths in places but it is not a full day hike in the mountains. Just an exploration of a little know walk in Dublin that seems to take you away from the city. Walking past ancient carn tombs, lighthouses and the sea. 
It starts in Balscadden Bay and you head north to Howth. You can stop in Howth village, a beautiful suburb town with excellent restaurants, and get the bus back from there. It should take about 2 hours in total to walk. Weekend breaks in Dublin, don’t all just have to be about the partying.
Dublin has a great reputation as a party city. There is a large selection of vibrant nightclubs in Dublin to suit all. From The George, Dublin’s famous Gay nightclub on Georges Street to the bohemian RiRá located on Dame Court. There is a large selection of music venues to choose from in Dublin. The Cobblestones bar in Smithfield, is noted for traditional music and Whelan’s is a very good venue for contemporary music.
If you are looking for a comedy club but don’t want to pay the large prices that the big acts ask for, then the International Bar on William St. is a good bet. They have a selection of up and coming and established comedians playing every night of the week.
